      KEARNEY -- Mildred May Warrick, 87, of Kearney, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

      Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at First Lutheran Church in Kearney. The Rev. Jerry Gilbreath will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Highland Park Cemetery in Ravenna.

      Memorials are suggested to Hospice or First Lutheran Church.

      Rasmussen Mortuary in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.

      Mrs. Warrick was born Feb. 9, 1913, at the home of her parents, Severin and Inga (Nelson) Roberg of Bradish in Boone County, Nebr. She attended rural school near the South Branch Church.

      She married Max Warrick on Nov. 25, 1934, in Albion. The couple lived in Loup City, Sheridan, Wyo. and Ravenna, where they owned and operated clothing stores. They retired in 1977 and moved to Kearney in 1985.

      She was a member and officer of P.E.O., Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and women's groups in the church. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Kearney.

      Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jim of Williamsburg, Va. and John of Austin, Texas; one daughter, Susan Stover of Hildreth; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Doris Rosenbaum of Albion.

      She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
