Montgomery-Hoffmann Genealogy

I’ve been researching my Montgomery and Hoffmann branches for over twenty years. Genealogy is about making connections – to the past, to family members living today, as well as to future generations; I’m happy to share the information I’ve gathered over the years, and would love to hear from you if you find we have a connection.

My paternal side of the family has connections to some of the earliest New England settlers; many were part of the westward migration of the Seventh Day Baptist Church. More recent paternal connections came from Norway in the 19th century. Most of my maternal ancestors were part of similar 19th-century migrations, immigrating from France, Germany, and Switzerland.
