Notes |
- Cassius moved his family to Ohio in 1837 except for Samuel who stayed f
or a while with his grandparents who were John and Sarah. Letter from a m
ember of Rapid City Society for Genealogical Research, Inc. (I believe t
hat the name is Mary) because Mary Wheeler is the mother of Cassius Wil
lson not Sarah and they got confused with another John and Sarah. Samue
l the son stayed with his grandparents a short time. [DAJ]

Hi Megan,
These WILSON or WILLSON soldiers served from VT in the Rev. War from 17
75-1783:
David, Ebenezer, Isaac, James, John, Joseph, Lucas, Michael, Nathaniel, N
oah, Peter, Samuel, Squire or Esquire, Thomas, Walter, and William.
They were not my ancestors; sorry, I do not know if any of these Vermon
t soldiers were your ancestors.
