- Pearl I. Hoffman-Sanders, 76, of Middleton, passed away peacefully on M
onday, March 10, 2003; with family and special friends by her side. Int
erment will be at the Middleton Cemetery, Middleton.
Pearl was born Nov. 15, 1926, at Vanzant, MO., the last child of Roy an
d Fannie White. In 1937 the family moved to Caldwell where she attended s
chool in Parma. In 1945 Pearl married Levi "Lee" Hoffman of Caldwell. T
o this union were born two daughters and a son. Levi died in 1958. In 1
974, Pearl married Alton "Wayne" Sanders and they made their home in Mi
ddleton. Pearl's Life was her family. She was devoted to her daughter a
d grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved h
er.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Wisnefsky and her husband, Mark o
f Caldwell; a sister, Odyn Tooley of Lenexa, KS; four grandchildren, Sh
elly (Jay) Durfee, T.J. Larson and Andrea Wisnefsky, all of Caldwell an
d Eric Sullivan of Twin Falls; four great-grandchildren; special friend
s, Katherine Shimmin and Vineta Thomsen; and numerous nieces and nephew
s. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Carol, a siste
and husbands, Levi Hoffman and Wayne Sanders. The family would like t
o thank the Odd Fellows Home, Four Rivers Hospice and especially Phylli
s Lloyd for the love and care shown to Pearl and the family during this d
ifficult time.
